Does looking at that title give you anxiety or hope? For many of us, sugar and flour are the two most addictive and weight retaining foods. In fact, it has been studied and found to be more addictive than cocaine! What I want you to do today is simple. Pay attention to labels and foods you consume. Are they whole, unprocessed foods? Are they from a box or container? Are there more than 5 ingredients listed?
Food journaling is something I find to be completely helpful and satisfying. Maybe you're new to it. Maybe you've never tried it. Either way, I want you to try to journal your food and hunger daily for the rest of the week. Here is what it looks like:
1. I recorded what I actually consumed.
2. I evaluate how hungry I was when I ate.
3. I consider my purpose in eating and how I felt while I was eating.
These three keys to food journaling allow me to truly get in touch with my overall purpose: to identify triggers and stay on track. When I am consciously considering my food intake, I am able to make healthy choices. Watch the video and comment below!
